Our mission is to leave no patient behind and currently we are looking for a creative & hungry Brand Manager who will enjoy and strongly support bringing our innovative product portfolio to the Dutch market.  

The brand manager role is one of the most interesting, critical and enriching roles in ViiV Netherlands and involves among others:

  • Drive and inspire a cross functional team towards meeting the business objectives and being accountable for the team delivery
  • Challenge the status quo. Exploring & testing new activities to be impactful in making HCPs understand the benefits of ViiV innovative portfolio
  • Localise & execute the global strategy into a strong local plan allowing to maximise the suitable PWH (according to SMPC) to get the opportunity to benefit from the ViiV portfolio.

Your responsibilities:

Launch a new and innovative brand in the HIV landscape including:

  • Identify an implementation pathway for this new brand,
  • Localise Global campaigns in line with market needs, proposal of solutions and identification of gaps in content or technology
  • Marketing strategy development (aligned with EU where possible) and campaigns implementation
    • Gather and consolidate commercial and medical input from NL customer facing employees to inform brand and MC content development
    • NL project lead for implementation of :
      • the NL in-line brand tactical plans
      • implementation of campaign material and activities in NL
      • the implementation of EU best practices in the NL
    • Effective management of agencies to deliver communication objectives by brand ensuring quality, timings and budgets are all met effectively
    •  Budgeting and cost-consciousness

Lead NL Portfolio Multichannel activities (MA):

  • Develop and lead implementation of a strong Multichannel plan in collaboration with the cross functional team
  • Develop Multichannel Customer journey for our Portfolio
  • Localise and adapt the Global MA and digital activities for the Dutch Market  
  • Assure relevant input from other functions PCA, Medical, Commercial, Marketing to enrich the MC strategy
  • Implement innovative Digital project in the Dutch Market (AI, Virtual reality ect)

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Level of education: Master in Business, Medical, Pharmacy, Biology
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 Y of marketing experience in pharmaceutical marketing experience (specialty TA preferred, ideally HIV or Injectable Therapeutic area), Product launch experience , additional sales experience preferable
  • Dutch pharmaceutical market specifics understanding
  • Experienced in multichannel and shaping customer journey
  • Can do attitude, think out of the box mindset
  • Strong team player
  • Fluent in English, Dutch speaking

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively with key opinion leaders
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to lead multiple projects across a x-functional team
  • Strong customer focus with an ability to develop, leverage customer insights and translate them into tactics
  • Strong commercial acumen
